Name Plaque

It was my job to create a plaque for the model. I chose to add the John Rylands Library logo which is carved into the surface of the building and guilded in gold. We later learnt that this logo was added to the building in the 1980s and forms no historic connection to the original building.

The laser cutter works with AutoCad. All line thicknesses must be 0.05 and the colour denotes which strength of cut. Red - cutting Blue - scoring White - etching.
